I am a distance runner, but I'm not a big fan of the sickly-sweet energy gels that are on the market. I read about these in Amazon.com reviews, and I tried them, and they are as fantastic as advertised. They taste great, and they are just the thing to eat before or during a long workout. I can't recommend these to people enough. Just be thankful that they come in such small packages, because otherwise you would just keep eating them! Big League Chew, Ground Ball Grape Bubble Gum, 2.12-Ounce Pouches (Pack of 12)
Ok I have to weigh in here as this is already becoming a contentious discussion. I am speaking as one of the few people who is legally permitted to be in the presence of children AND enjoys the flavor of Groundball Grape. Rather than staunchly defending my own predilections, I must say that I have some truly bizarre tastes when it comes to food and sweets in particular. As a child, I once broke the seal on a bottle of that horrible pink candy-medicine and drank the gooey nectar simply because I found it tasty. I have bought 1lb bags of fine dinner mints with the intent of sole consumption, and also enjoy orange circus peanuts. In my adult years, I have been known to eat tacos for breakfast and dunk razor-shaved slices of salami into milkshakes, a la chips n' dip. It is I, dear readers who enjoys the tangy, tart, unfavorably robust and chemical flavor of Ground Ball Grape. I defend my enjoyment of it as a matter of personal taste, but would never even suggest it as a preference of others. If we are a member of this minority and wish to maintain strong opinions of such a personal nature, we must recognize not only the futility of defending our untenable position, but that it is wrong to do so. To even imply that anybody 'should' enjoy this flavor is to betray one's own position. By the very nature of the thing, it is absurd to like this disgusting gum. Anyone who says that Groundball Grape is a 'good' flavor, or that it should be a 'well liked' flavor is defining themselves as a madman in the eyes of society. Any opinions held are the product of sheer lunacy. One must accept that the very fact of liking this flavor is unusual, and exhibit nothing but sympathy for those who despise it. Members such as CP should be supported and consoled, and should be reconciled with their families, in time.

Dubble Bubble Tub Original Flavor 380 ct
I decided to buy some Dubble Bubble after seeing a tub of it in the Red Sox dugout on TV. For some reason I always thought they chewed Bazooka since that was just about all there was growing up as a kid here. I ran out and got a couple of packs of each for my own taste test. I gotta admit I like the DB better. Like the other reviewer here I noticed that its not as sticky on the teeth as Bazooka. And I actually thought it was sweeter and lasted a tad longer. Its sorta like comparing Coke to Pepsi for their both good and very similar. But I do have to give the final nod to DB. (Even considering you still get the Bazooka Joe comic with Bazooka.) Besides, if Dubble Bubble is good enough for the Red Sox, its good enough for me!... Jolly Rancher Sugar Free Hard Candies, Assorted Flavors, 3.6-Ounce Bags (Pack of 12)
Being diabetic, I am always on the watch for sugar free snacks. The "Jolly Rancher Sugar Free Hard CandiesAt only 35 calories and 0 Net Carbs for 4 pieces, these do not impact my blood sugar levels or ruin my diet. They are slightly less sweet than regular candies, but do not seem to cause the "laxative" effect other dietetic candies can have.
Orbit-Jumbo Variety Pack, 15 Packs
This is the best valued Orbit chewing gum package. You will not get tired of the flavor since you get to sample a number of them : 3 wintermints
3 peppermints
3 cinnamints 3 spearmints
3 bubblemints
Like other chewing gums, I have to open two everytime. One seems like too small that I almost don't feel it in my mouth. Orbit is a premium gum at a premium price. Generally I find it more expensive that the others at the aisle. But the flavor and taste lasts for a long time before it is time to throw it out. What more, it cleans your teeth. No calorie and no sugar.
Believe it or not, Orbit gum was launched in 1944 during the war and it was really intended for our soldiers.
Orbit is the first sugar free chewing gum by Wrigley, the maker of "Juicy Fruit". It was granted by the American Dental Association of a seal of approval to help improve dental health. It is 1 of the top 5 brands of gum in the United States.

Red Vines Red Original Licorice Twists, 64-Ounce Tub
We purchased this in addition to the Red Vines Black Licorice TwistsRed Vines provide excellent value; you will not find four pounds of candy at this price that is so popular with kids and adults. Red Vines are Star-K kosher-certified with no fat and only 140 calories per serving (five pieces/vines).
The licorice is also versatile for many occasions. I use Red Vines licorice for Halloween, birthday parties and I keep a tub at the office to fend off co-workers who roam around in the afternoon, looking for a snack.
Licorice requires tender, loving care. Unlike hard candy, which can (and often does) sit for months in the bottom of your grandmother's purse, licorice tastes best soft and fresh. Storage should be airtight and at room temperature. Lucky for us, this order arrives in a plastic tub with a nine-month shelf life.
According to the Red Vines web site, "many fans heat Red Vines candy in their microwaves for 5-7 seconds or until the candy reaches the desired softness." I tried this trick and it works great, softening the licorice into a delectable treat.
Horizon Organic Reduced Fat Milk, 8-Ounce Aseptic Cartons (Pack of 18)
Most regularly packaged milks are NOT UHT treated-- that is "Ultra-High Temperature." Much like Pasteurization or autoclaving, this sterilization treatment significantly extends the life of the product by increasing the time it takes for bacteria to grow in significant quantities in the milk (the bacteria is what makes a warm bottle of milk "go bad"). The difference is these do not require refrigeration to prevent spoilage. These are bottled to be portable and durable, not just consumption. We use them for our daughter's lunches, trips, and general snacks.
It is true at $1.22 per bottle, the cost is ~20 cents higher than you can get at other locations--i.e., the cases are ~$16 at Costco. Still, for those of us that live in remote/rural locations-- it's a really good deal for doorstep delivery.

Godiva Truffles
Dark chocolate is all about marketing and has little to do with quality. Chocolate connoisseurs know better but constitute a small fraction of the gourmet consumer base. Godiva chocolates are delicious and have a wonderful texture. They taste better than Sees Chocolates. Unfortunately, they just don't satisfy my chocolate craving.
It's a shame what qualifies as chocolate here. In the US, dark chocolate must contain 15% chocolate liquor; European rules require 35% cocoa solids. American milk chocolate must contain 10% chocolate liquor; European standards require 25% cocoa solids. That means American milk chocolate is 90% not. No wonder those drug store easter chocolates taste so horrible.
The ingredients of Godiva are far from top notch. At the prices they charge, it's a crime that Godiva uses artificial vanilla (vanillin), palm kernel oil, lecithin, preservatives, and artificial flavors made in some factory off the New Jersey Turnpike. I doubt real vanilla costs that much more per box of chocolates.
Get a Valrhona pure chocolate bar (see other comments on where to purchase or buy conveniently from Amazon). They make one which contains 85% cocoa!

Kellogg's Fruity Snacks Variety Pack-24 ct.
The size of the bags are bigger than any I've seen when it comes to fruit snacks, the next biggest size I've seen is only about half of the size of these ones. That's a mixed thing, when I want something small to snack on - these are normally too much and I only eat half a bag. Fortunately it's not rocket science to save half a bag and they don't loose any flavor with a simple rolled up opening a day later. I normally hate anything mixed berry flavor as far as fruit juices, fruit snacks, etc - but these are the first ones I've enjoyed. I think the flavor of all 3 varieties are great and they don't have that chalky aftertaste I find in other fruit snack brands. Basically it's a very solid snack, and while it's not certainly cheap, I find it's worth the cost easily. I don't think I'll ever go back to grocery store brand name fruit snacks again.Jelly Belly Jelly Beans, 49 Flavors, 2-Pound Stand-Up Pouch
These Jelly Belly jellybeans come in a nice resealable stand-up pouch which lists the different jelly bean flavors on its back. There are plenty of jelly beans in this container - enough to last the casual jellybean eater at least a month or two. The inclusion of forty-nine different flavors in one bag really drives me to assign favorite and not-so-favorite flavors: some of these beans are too wacky and taste strange while others [particularly the fruit-flavored beans in my opinion] are excellent. Each jellybean is brightly-colored and easy to tell apart from its peers, so you can theoretically hone in on a particular set of flavors as you whittle down the contents of this bag.
Honestly, I would probably go for the "Superfruit Mix" or the Jelly Belly Soda Pop Shoppe Jelly Beans, Assorted Flavors, 3.5-Ounce Bags (Pack of 12)
next time, only because of some of the oddball flavors included in this pouch. But everyone has their flavor preferences: you may enjoy some of the weirder flavors more than I did.
Honestly, I would probably go for the "Superfruit Mix" or the Jelly Belly Soda Pop Shoppe Jelly Beans, Assorted Flavors, 3.5-Ounce Bags (Pack of 12) Chex Mix Chocolate Cereal, 14.25-Ounce Box (Pack of 6)
This is honestly the best tasting cereal out there. It's plenty chocolately, which also means it's quite sugary, but surprisingly, its sugar content is 8g per serving, which is less than a lot of cereals (specifically, the sugary kids' cereals). Depending on how you feel about sugar, I wouldn't count on it being a "healthy" breakfast food, but it sure makes a tasty one. It's also an excellent snack. I hate to admit it, but I can eat (and have eaten) a whole box of these in a single day - by myself.
Regarding the gluten free issue - all the boxes I've received (and have purchased in local stores) say on them that they are gluten free. I believe that the other reviewers are taking issue with the ingredients list posted on this product description page, as opposed to an ingredients list directly from the box. This is, therefore, not an issue with the Chex, but with Amazon's description. The ingredients list is posted online by General Mills
Chex Mix Chocolate Cereal, 14.25-Ounce Box (Pack of 6)Cheerios Cereal, 14-Ounce Box (Pack of 4)
Cheerios are the first breakfast cereal I can remember eating. Other than Grapenuts, it is the only one I still eat. As my memory of these go back to just after the war (WWII) that is a lot of Cheerios over the years. This is one of the few products that I know of that they have not messed around with and as far as I can tell, they taste the same to day as they did when I had my first bowl. These things are cholesterol free with no saturated fats. There are no added colorings or flavor. They are just about perfect as such things go. In addition to being a breakfast staple, they are also almost always my "going to bed snack"...a habit I have had for years.
These are also one of my favorite munching foods. When reading I normally have a box next to my reading chair which to be honest, beats the heck out of pork rinds, potato chips or Moon Pies. The dogs seem to enjoy them as much as I do. I also do a lot of traveling via automobile and I always have a box or two of these with me to eat right out of the box. They tend to keep me from turning into every fast food place I encounter and they are great for keeping you awake during long trips, in particular at night.
These are a wonderful and traditional cereal and I do hope they stay around for a long, long time.
Back To Nature Cookies
These cookies are a little pricey in my opinion but you always pay more for natural food products and these cookies are made from natural ingredients. Sometimes you do not get that many cookies in a bag but that's okay, just go eat another bag of cookies. :) They taste great and have mostly if not 100% natural ingredients. I have made many orders for these cookies and plan on making more orders for them in the future. Highly recommended if you are looking for a delicious, individually packaged, chocolate chip cookie snack. If you like my review, please give it a positive rating and I will make more reviews on other products in the future.

Navitas Naturals Organic Goji Berries Himalayan Superfruit, 16-Ounce Pouch
These berries are thought to be one of the one of the healthiest natural foods. There are many "stories" about the amazing benefits of these berries, many of which may be true, but a few verifiable facts about them (in dried form) follow: 1) High protein (about 12%), and are a complete protein. This is good for anybody, but particularly noteworthy to vegans, who choose not to get their protein from meats.
2) Decent fiber content (about 10%) 3) 18 (!!) amino acids
4) Like most sweet fruits, high in carbs and calories. 100 grams give you about 350-380 calories; roughly 3/4 from carbs and 1/4 from fat.
5) 6 vitamins, 8 amino acids, 11+ minerals (more in trace amounts)
6) Carotenoids, unsaturated fatty acids (this is a good thing), phytosterols (help lower cholesterol), and other healthy (or theoretically healthy but not particularly well researched) phytochemicals.
Enough with the technical jargon. These berries are great in cereal, smoothies (once hydrated), and tea. For tea, try this:
Put water, a small number of berries (6-15ish) and a teabag in your cup, microwave for about a minute per teacup (time varies), drop a small amount in your favorite tea along with the teabag and let the berries and tea steep for about 3 minutes.
This adds a subtle character to green tea (plus an unusual, tasty snack to do with a few of the sips). The flavor seems to blend well with chai and jasmine too. This may work differently for those who use creamer.
I recommend that you try a bag, keeping in mind that you may need to soak the berries in water/tea/whatever in order to make them soft, and see what you think. I have found they make a great addition to my usual cereal-only breakfast because they give me a much-needed protein boost.
If you like them quite a lot, you may want to take the time to look for a supply in a nearby Asian foods store. I have heard they can be purchased at a lower cost in bulk.

Stretch Island Original Fruit Leather, Summer Strawberry, 0.5-Ounce Bars (Pack of 30)
I used to buy 100% natural fruit roll-ups at a local fruit market down the street from me. They were sold individually for like 65 cents apiece and were AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS. They were nothing like the fruit roll ups for kids you find in the grocery stores today. Those things are gross and have no resemblance whatsoever to a real fruit roll up. I used to literally buy like $50 worth at a time and would just eat one after another after another. In particular the Apricot and Strawberry flavors were just outstanding. Anyways, I went to the market one day and they had gone out of business. That was about 8-9 years ago. I tried finding a different store that carried them and to this day I have been unsuccessful. I tried finding them using the internet but unfortunately I just cant remember the name of the company to save my life. I just remember they were sold individually, were round and actually quite large in diameter, and they came attached to a piece of cellophane. I came across Stretch Island Leathers on Amazon just a few weeks ago and got extremely excited after reading the description as it sounded exactly like a fruit roll up, just presented differently. While a Fruit Roll-up is large and thin, The Fruit leather is small and thick. Anyways I immediately order a box of the strawberry and anxiously awaited its arrival. I received my shipment 2 days later and immediately ripped open the box and dug in. They were exactly what I was looking for and they were just as delicious as I remembered them to be. I would up eating one after another after another, just like I used to do, until I had a fairly large pile of wrappers sitting in front of me. I honestly cant even express how excited I really am. Not only did I find what I was looking for, I found it on Amazon which means I can buy them in large quantities for a very reasonable price. On top of that Amazon offers them on a subscription based service so I don't even have to trouble myself with re-ordering more.
The bottom line - Stretch Island Leathers are OUTSTANDING and my hunt is finally over. If you are a big fruit lover than you simply have to give these a try. Of course these are not just for adults, in fact these are absolutely perfect for kids especially if your trying to cut down on the amount of junk food your kids eat. They are all natural and have no added sugar. For those that have dietary restrictions, they are also gluten free and dairy free. I honestly cannot give a higher recommendation!!
Stretch Island Original Fruit Leather, Summer Strawberry, 0.5-Ounce Bars (Pack of 30)Peter Rabbit Organics, Organic Mango, Banana and Orange 100% Pure Fruit Snack, 3.5-Ounce Pouches (Pack of 10)
YUM! Our 17 month old daughter loves them. When we heard about these new pouches, they were a _must try_. We couldnt decide on a fruit combination, so we ordered a case of each. This worked out well, because the order qualified for amazons free shipping. They arrived very quickly in easy to open cases. We consolidated them to a box in the pantry so we could get to them faster and because those pouches can kind of slide around. :) Our daughter is all about choices right now and so we let her decide which one she'd like to try first. She looked carefully at each of them then said "NANA! ARN! BUH-NEE! HOP! HOP!" and so chose the Mango, Banana and Orange...and it remains her favorite of the three (although, she would never give up the others if offered).
Now, the plane ride...we recently took a trip to visit grandma from San Jose to Austin - a 4+ hour airflight that we were somewhat nervous about. We packed our fruit pouches and other goodies. It became a special treat as we rolled out to the tarmac and then took off into the sky. She happily ate and when she was done, sat quietly and contently looking at the pouch...pointing at the bunny and the orange and the banana, (we told/showed her there was a mango too).
When we ran out of pouches, we went to the whole foods - but they were not yet available there. They did have another brand, which we reluctantly purchased because unlike the peter rabbit pouches - the cap was so tiny, it could be a serious choking hazzard should it get into the hands (or mouth) of our little lady. The combination was also different and she didnt really care for the other kind as much.
Though she cant say alot of words, she does sign quite a few and she runs to the pantry, points and signs "more, please...more please!! please!!" Which is pretty funny to see.
We took some video the day they arrived, I'll have to see if I can find it and post as part of the review.

O.N.E. Coconut Water, 11.2-Ounce Aseptic Containers (Pack of 12)
My family has been adopting a raw foods diet for the last year, and one of the things we have been able to enjoy is eating young green coconuts. A young green coconut looks like a woody white cylinder with a point on the top of it. In order to open it, you take a heavy cleaver type knife and you strike it in four sides around the point of the coconut.
You then take off the top and inside you get anywhere from 1/4 to a full cup of coconut water- a clear sweet nectar with subtle coconut flavor.
Drinking this type of juice is a delightful experience, however, it does take some work to get at and is not always convenient- until now.
When I first saw the 11 oz aseptic container of O.N.E coconut water, I was not sure what to expect. I know that I expected it to be flat tasting and probably nothing like I was used to from having fresh green coconut water.
I was wrong.
This coconut water might not be fresh and raw, but it is the closest thing to it that I have come across so far.
The foil wrapped box has about a 5/8" opening (slanted square) that is covered with foil. You peel that off and it forms a slight spout for easy pouring.
It is best served cold, so I kept in the refrigerator.
The water/juice inside is a slightly cloudy clear liquid which has the delightful taste of young green coconuts. There is a refreshing coconut flavor that is not at all overwhelming, but just right.
It has no added flavors or sugars to it, which is delightful. It has only 60 calories which is also a nice feature.
I have compared it to fresh coconut water, and although I do prefer raw fresh water, I am very happy with this as a substitute.
I can say this, my family all fought to taste this stuff- so it made a big hit here.
If you are into raw foods and need to have a beverage which is close to what you are used to and is not cooked to death and sweetened in a package to take on a picnic, trip, or even to work, this is definitely a great item to have handy.
You might like it even if you are not into raw foods, but like the fragile coconut flavor in coconut water- you should give this a try.
I do want to mention that this is NOT the kind of water that comes out of very dark brown dried coconuts- that tastes very different than young green coconuts.

M&M's Milk Chocolate - 56 oz. bag
My two vices, if you want to call them that, are coffee and chocolate. I keep both in the house at all times. M&Ms are just very satisfying when the chocolate craving hits, and it makes sense to have the biggest bag on hand if you crave it a lot! This size is also ideal for a party. I like that these bags are reclosable. Some chocolate has hydrogenated oil, but not M&Ms! Maybe food coloring isn't ideal, but oh well, they are such a happy snack! And they are easy to enjoy -- M&Ms don't make a melty mess like a chocolate bar. If you purposely put some in a warm place, the chocolate melts inside the crispy candy shell, which is a yummy sensation when you eat them! My stars and review are for the product only. I really wish Amazon would start to carry these at a comparable price with prime shipping (especially with subscribe and save!). Until then, I stock up when they go on sale for eight bucks at my local Target, drugstore or grocery store.

Oreo Sandwich Cookies
I have had an Oreo addiction since just about the time I knew what a cookie was. Its funny how Oreos have managed to hang on and become such a family favorite despite all the competition of much fancier cookies that are available. No nugets going on here, chocolate bits, caramel, icing, or peanuts either. Just a tasty chocolate cookie shell with a delicious vanilla filling. Keeping it simple has been the best policy for Oreo lovers for decades now. These little packages contain Oreos that are a smidgen' smaller than the regular box or bag sized variety. What the cookie and candy industry refers to as the fun size. That might explain some of the negative comments as to these Oreos being rather cheap with the filling. In my opinion the ratio is the same, they are just smaller. This 12 pack is an excellent buy on Amazon. Buy two of them and you get free shipping and for the majority of us, no sales tax. A fine buy if you have a lots of Oreo fiends in your home that prefer a measured amount of these great cookies. Like a lot of other reviewers here I tend to eat less of them when they come in the little packages as such. Great classic Oreo cookies at a good price. Highly recommended...
